Privacy

This site has no accounts, no sign-up forms, and no advertising. The site itself sets no cookies; it remembers your light or dark mode choice in your own browser only.

Visit counting

We count page views with GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly analytics service. Each page load sends one count containing:

• the page address and title,
• the site you came from, if your browser shares it,
• your screen size, and your browser and country, worked out from the request.

It sends nothing you read or type on the page, and nothing from the slides or handouts you download. GoatCounter doesn’t use cookies, doesn’t store your IP address, and doesn’t track you across other sites. We use the totals only to see which sessions and pages people find useful.

Embedded videos

Session videos are embedded from YouTube. When a video player loads, YouTube may set its own cookies, and YouTube’s privacy policy applies to it.

Fonts

The site’s fonts load from Google Fonts, which sees your IP address when your browser requests them.
